Today during the course of my usual constitutional in downtown Pittsburgh I came across a storefront that boldly declared it's creation in 1988 with the kind of font usually reserved for those fine institutions from the 16th century in most European cities.

   This struck me as odd, but as I thought about it more and more it began to make sense. Anything from the 1900s is old news. Archaic. And of course the last seven, no eight years has been a blur on a downward gyre and suddenly even I find the 1900s comforting. I raise a glass to Reaganomics...

   As for today's comic, I would like to proudly declare that I intend to make it into an actual mug on my store upon Monday afternoon and will buy one for myself because I must have it. Might even bring it to work, see what happens. I think there a a couple ways to enliven your work day and this would be one of them. Enjoy...
